This is a PDF knitting pattern.
Gyllis is an architectural lace scarf knit length-wise. Choose a color of DK weight yarn held together with lace weight mohair silk for a fluffy fabric or knit a simple version with one strand of DK weight wool. Simple lace is worked in sections divided by different locations of increases that give the fabric a dramatic arched shape. The resulting shawl drapes effortlessly around the shoulders.

You will need the recommended yardage for each strand of yarn if you are holding a strand of mohair together with your wool yarn.

US 8 / 5mm circular in 40” / 100cm length or size needed to obtain gauge

16 sts = 4” / 10cm in garter stitch after blocking
