This is a PDF knitting pattern.
This shawl is knitted with one strand of DK weight wool held together with one strand of lace weight mohair silk. The sideways triangle begins at the small corner with an I-cord cast on. The I-cord continues to frame ribbed columns with dip stitches, twisted stitches, and cables. Four skeins of DK weight wool like West Wool Tandem combined with four matching balls of West Wool Glowhair will create a large size. You can easily customize the size by simply binding off early for a smaller shawl or knit more pattern repeats if you have more yarn to create a larger size.

Gauge is not crucial for this project so long as you achieve a fabric that feels good to you. If you want to swatch, I recommend casting on the shawl and knitting to Row 78 because the project begins small at the corner tip.Westknits Workshops
