19″ / 48cm brim circumference. 9.5″ / 24cm from brim to top of hat when the brim is folded.
The hat is shown on a 22.5″ / 57cm head circumference. Measurements taken after blocking the hat. The hat stretches comfortably to fit up to a 24″ / 61cm head circumference.
Yarn
DK weight
You can mix DK and worsted weight yarns together for colorful stripes. Also try holding two strands of fingering weight yarn together to create a DK weight thickness.

MC - 190yds / 174m
CC - approximately 75yds / 69m total
The MC is the brim and slip stitch columns. CC’s are featured in each sample. The CC’s are the garter ridges stripes.
Needles
US 6 / 4mm circular in 40″ / 100cm length or size needed to obtain gauge
US 5 / 3.75mm circular in 40″ / 100cm length or 1 size smaller than main needle
Magic loop method is used for knitting in the rnd.

Gauge
25 sts & 50 rnds = 4″ / 10cm in slip stitch column pattern using larger needles before blocking
