19 [20, 22]″ / 48 [51, 56]cm head circumference. Measurements taken after blocking. The length is customizable. I recommend selecting a size that is 2 – 3″ / 5 – 8cm smaller than your actual head circumference.
Size 2 is shown on a 22.5″ / 57cm head circumference.
Yarn
DK weight held together with lace weight mohair. You can knit this hat without the extra strand of mohair for a simple DK weight wool version.

Color A - 110 [120, 130]yds / 101 [110, 119]m
Color B - 100 [110, 120]yds / 91 [110, 119]m
Color A = 1 strand DK weight wool held together with 1 strand lace weight mohair silk
Color B = 1 strand DK weight wool held together with 1 strand lace weight mohair silk
For example, for Size 1 you will need 110yds / 101m of DK weight wool AND 110yds / 101m of lace weight mohair silk for color A. You will also need the recommended yardage of color B for each of the DK weight and lace weight strands of yarn.
Needles
US 6 / 4mm circular in 40″ / 100cm length or size needed to obtain gauge.
Magic loop method is used for knitting in the round.
You can use DPN’s if you prefer.
